Yes. SpinWheel uses the browser's Web Crypto API (crypto.getRandomValues) to generate random values for each spin. The result is determined independently of the wheel animation.
How do I use SpinWheel as a Wheel of Names?
Paste your list of names into the wheel, one name per line, then click SPIN. For classrooms or giveaways, you can also enable Auto-Remove so selected names are removed from future spins.
How does the Go Live feature work?
Go Live creates a shareable room where other people can watch your wheel spins in real time. Share the viewer link with your audience during a stream, online event, or remote classroom.
How many names can I add?
You can add anything from a few choices to large lists of names or entries. SpinWheel automatically adjusts the wheel layout as your list grows.
Can I use multiple wheels?
Yes. You can create multiple wheel tabs in the same workspace and switch between them whenever you need.
How do weighted entries work?
Weighted entries let some choices have a higher chance of being selected. For example, an entry with a weight of 2 has twice the selection probability of an entry with a weight of 1.
Will I lose my wheel if I refresh the page?
No. Your wheel entries and settings are saved automatically in your browser. If you create an account, you can also save supported data to your account for access on other devices.
Is SpinWheel free?
Yes. SpinWheel is free to use and you don't need an account to start spinning. An account is optional for features that require saving or syncing your wheels.
